Polyfuels Group AB is a Swedish company that converts plastic waste into pyrolysis oil by using leading proof of concept pyrolysis technology.
Through off-take partner Borealis, the pyrolysis-oil will be transformed into new plastic – Chemical recycling.
Polyfuels Group AB will be a first mover in certifying through ISCC – International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) standards, that todays incinerated plastic waste, will be the feedstock for new plastic production.
By establishing new standards for chemical recycling, Polyfuels will contribute to great reductions in CO2 emissions.
The company is currently establishing industrial-scale demonstration plants at Billingsfors in Sweden and Viken in Norway. These two businesses will lead to full-scale plants, processing up to 24 tonnes plastic waste per day by mid-2025.
